Derren Brown has just screwed my brain

Postby rcarlsen » Jun 24th, '05, 17:21

Hi all.

Last night, I went to Cambridge Theatre, and watched Derren Browns show, "Something Wicked This Way Comes". What a marvellous and astonishing show. You will get confused, surprised, screwed, and totally blown away. We all promised DB to not tell too much about what the show is about, but, what was really cool, was the ending, were he infacts explains (!!) how everything during the show had been possible to perform. You wan't believe it. It's just crazy. He's number ONE. Oh my god, he just is....

It would be worth spending the entire day on a train to see him live it really would!

(Or even travelling from exotic foreign parts!)

Derren is a great bloke. I saw his show twice last year and so far twice this year (gunning for a 3rd as a birthday gift  ). It is a great show - better then last year. I'd recomend everyone and anyone to go see it :D

Did you specifically come over to see Derren ?

If so, that's dedication to magic! :o

The current show finishes July 2nd so it's almost over but not quite. Now Derren can take time off to start preparing next year's show!!

He made me laugh last night. Channel 4 run idents where the stars of some of their shows tell the camera things like their ideal job. For the one where they're asked to sum up channel 4 in one word, people say things like "zany" or "innovative".

He says "livelihood", which I like.
