Thank you all,

Harry, Bagged for life is just awesome It will make more sense when you see the trailer. It was one of those rare things for me that when I saw it it went straight into my professional set.

I must point out that apart from Bagged for life myself and Gary had not performed the material before. Part of this project was to show how practical the routines are so some of the performances are the first or second time we had ever done them.

We saw some of them for the first time in Pizza Express in the afternoon and filmed them live that night. They really are that practical with a basic knowledge of sleights.

Lee.

Well Just over a week before Blackpool and the release of The unknown DVD I thought id spend a bit of time just telling people a bit more about myself…

Well Im Mark Bendell and have been involved in Magic on and off for about 3O years, I Got bitten by the Magic bug when I got a David Nixon box set for my Birthday when I was 7 years old.. (wish I still had it now).

Found out my Father was into Magic during the 50's and 60's and one day handed me a box of the Gen magazines from the 1950's this is where I started creating my own ideas, due to the fact that there was no internet and library was pretty disappointing One book that I must of taken continuously for best part of four years

From the age of 13-19 I learnt a lot from the performers on TV and I would use these programmes as a training ground to come up with methods for these tricks being performed, finding out much later on the secrets were far simpler than I had ever imagined.

My 20's were a bit of a blur working hard and still do in A Busy Advertising Agency so dropped magic to concentrate on a career although my knowledge came in handy when I was asked to design an illusion for a corporate event back in 2002.. (So I think I may have been one of the first to produce a spiderflex exhibition stand from a brief case on a thin table.)

I worked on theatre productions of BIG and the witches of Eastwich in an advisory role teaching Magic to the cast and designing the illusions for the Theatre. (very difficult when the budget had been all spent on scenery and costumes..) :)

My 30's Got inventing again and Released a routine for Thom Bleasdale to use on his Tommy pad DVD..

And as they say the rest is history past 3 years I've worked with British Magician Gary Jones (who I have known for over 15 years and he never fails to amaze me) I was then asked if I would be interested in doing a DVD with RSVP so I jumped at the chance. So this is it just some of my material from my notebooks spanning 20+ years

As Lee mentioned I'm not a performer but seeing Gary and Lee go out and perform my material its given me a new found confidence to get out and start performing myself so watch this space..

Just like to say A HUGE THANK YOU to Lee Smith, Gary Jones, & Especially Russ Stevens for all their time and patience..

IF anybody has any questions feel free to PM me and ill get back to you.

all the best
MARK BENDELL (The Unknown)

Hello,

It has been brought to my attention that my routine Out to Peek is the same as Andi Gladwin's Mentalist's Luncheon which he has published in Mind Blasters and also in magic magazine. I would just like to say that I had not seen Andi's routine before but I do understand that while we both came up with the same routine independently all credit should go to Andi.

If I had known that this routine was already in print I would have never put this on to my DVD. I would just like it known that I have a huge respect for Andi Gladwin and his magic and I have asked Russ to make sure that if we have another run of the DVD the crediting will be changed.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter Andi, I see that you are lecturing down here in Devon I will make sure we meet up and I will buy you a beer.

Thank you.
