Hey, Hawk!

That's a tough question, really - there are endless possibilities for street magic. Cards, Money - close-up tricks - the sky is the limit, really.

Are you wanting to work a specific "genre" - or did you want to change things up? Be more specific about what you want to do, and maybe I can be more helpful.

Speaking just from my own experiences, I think this way:

I tend to pack light for street-style work. Basically, I try not to bring anything that a spectator would question. Everyday items, things someone would normally and believably carry.

My usual "street rig" consists of

Sharpie
2 Decks of Cards (the extra is necessary for specific effects)
Some dupes or specialty cards
Pen for penetration effects
4-5 half dollars
Bills - for Hundy 500 (although I have to use 5's and 10's because I'm poor!!!) or other bill changes
Quarters, dimes, pennies
TT (lately, I ALWAYS seem to have this on me)
Linking Key Rings
X-Pert (I don't leave home without this)

That's about it. I might throw a few other gimmicks or props in from time to time, but that's about it.

I'm sure plenty of people around here would know more than I do. Hope these suggestions help, though.

I'd say Ambitious Card is a definite! Biddle trick? Umm... Recap by Greg Wilson.

1 regular deck
1 rising card deck
1 Brainwave/ID
2 Sharpies (from "Sharpie Thru Anything")
"Bitten & Restored Coin"
"Cig Thru Coin"
"Dreamweaver" (Safety pin link, with wonderful routine)

Any of these...

I just use "non card" magic to break up my card tricks (my preference) or to cover a deck switch. I usually keep the BW/I deck as a backup to messing a trick up, usually..

With a handful of card tricks, this is ample time to entertain people for about 15-30 mins, depending on your patter...

Most online shops now have sections devoted to street/close-up magic. Just have a look, then check back here for a review! =o)

A lot of people I've done stuff for tend to go mad for the coin tricks, simply having seen DB perform them on TV. Definately recommend them.
