Paul Gordon has just released an updated version of his 2009 book (OOP) The Real Secrets of Card Magic. Within the 92 oversized A4 pages you are going to find a wealth of information concerning working as a card magician. Paul has really left no stone unturned with this book and tells it how it is! You get fantastic advice on choice of material, performance tips, running a business and the subject of fees. Yes Fees! At last, someone who tells it how it is and gives you a good guide about what you should be charging (assuming you and your act is good enough). The fee advice is spot on and is what i charge for my corporate work (but my stage shows are higher). As someone who is getting back into performing card magic soon this is a book that i just had to have.

To be honest i could spend many pages here saying how much i like this book, but there is no need. It is Paul Gordon, a name associated with quality and the business advice is equally as good for all areas of magic. Great advice about being self employed and the realities of it. A really Great read and worth so much more than the £15 being asked.
