If I want to see a medium for s***s and giggles is Stephen Holbrook a good use of my time?

Yes he is! He is my favourite medium. If you want to see how to do it, go see Stephen Holbrook. I've seen him several times. Now that I've recommended him, no doubt he'll have a sh*t night when you go! :D

As an aside, if he has the psychic artist with him be prepared for some unintentionally humorous moments as they try to make the picture been drawn fit with somebody's loved one! Mr. Holbrook is a true pro, the artist lady less so.

I plan to take a pad and make notes! I've checked and he will be joined by Psychic Artist Sandy Ingham at the event I plan to attend. :D

Hi Paul - as the expert here, have you ever heard of Margaret Hurdman? If you have, what is your opinion? I have seen her in action, so am curious.

I want to see him a couple of years ago, just for research and to see what he did. Look out for the arm!

Hi Tony. Sorry - only just noticed your post! I haven't seen Margaret Hurdman perform so can't really comment. I've just checked her out her website. She looks pretty run-of-the-mill. Always difficult to say until you see them in front of an audience and see how they manage to interact with the punters. Have you seen her?

I have seen her. It surprised me that she missed some obvious good bits - she didn't hear people's reactions, and jump on the good bits. There were some very obvious bits where she was on autopilot, churning out stuff that she expected to hit. For instance, a bit about someone who had served in the trenches during WW1. But this was Ireland, and people do not admit it if they had ancestors who fought in the trenches for the British during those turbulent days. I was surprised she had not thought it out more.

That said, the audience liked her, particularly her second half, when she was taking pictures from people and doing readings. Her first half lacked good hits.

My overwhelming impression was that I could have stood up and done what she did - so I will have to try! Though I will leave out the dead people.
