Why do we bother going to work on a leap day ?
For those on a monthly salary, we don't get paid for working an extra day !
I bet we even get an extra day's interest added to our mortgage.

It's just a big con to get an extra days work out of us.

I never thought of it like that.

I suggest rebellion, or to put it another way "International mess about at work day"

I work on contract, hourly paid by monthly invoice. No such thing as "free" work.

No sick, or holiday pay though so horses for courses.

Like a lot of employed people (in the modern era anyway), I get paid an annual salary, so there's no question of me being paid more. I just have to work an extra day. Damn the Earth and its position orbiting the Sun. *Shakes fist*

Maybe I'm just 'cup half full' but could you not look at it as working a quarter day less for 3 years and being paid for no work?.....
