Very interesting read about Sally Morgan.

It seems that she might have spoken to the spirit of somebody who never existed. Now thats power for you.

For legal reasons we should be careful here. I did something similar to a well known medium once

Agreed. Toby and Tobin are similar but not identical, the first is usually a forename, the other a surname. I'd be willing to bet that more than one person with either of those names had been involved in an explosion of some sort so the 'exposure' really isn't very scientific. If anyone wants to catch a psychic/medium out then they'll need to be considerably more clever than the reporter in question. Offhand I'd suggest a skilled magician might be a better choice.....

I know of a very talented chap, by the name of Kreed Kafer, who's supposedly good at spotting alleged fakes

If Psychic Sally were genuinely psychic, why would she be doing this rather than doing it for real?

It is weird that she is doing Q&A but it is where the act came from the psychic world and churches have been started with a good Q&A act.

I could not work out if they were sealed or not?? But not the only psychic that has used writen questions to help tune in

But yes Tomo why would she need to do that is a good question, but if it works for her it works.

Yes, but the point of the point is that Drew caught her deliberately cheating.

Yeah I know but we know that, it is our art. But if we look at it from a lay mans point of view who's to say (unles they know like Drew) that she is cheating?

Derren does a Q&A does he not, it does not look like cheating it looks amazing, gets a great reaction and how he say he does it is a lie just like Sally but it does not look like cheating unles you know what you are looking at.

By the way I am not sticking up for Sally here just throwing out the idea that as a psychic you kinda get to make up the rules of the game as it's your game :D

But the point is that Derren admits that he is cheating and deceiving. Wheres, Sally resorts to legal actions.

Didn't Uri Geller claim to have special powers ?
Now he claims to be a mystical entertainer with no supernatural powers.

If you're raking in loads of money they you will vigourously defend your claims until you are caught.
Some people may even believe the claims they make.

Debunking psychics is absolutely pointless. They always win in the end. You can expose them till the cows come home but nobody believes the exposures and the vast majority of the public will side with the psychics. Mind you, I have never been madly excited about mediumship since I believe a lot of trickery goes on. I shall stick to palmistry and the Tarot since there is absolutely nothing to expose since both are ancient divination systems. You may or may not believe in them but there is nothing to expose. In truth the only psychics who resort to trickery are some psychic mediums, particularly the TV ones, and the gypsy type scam artists of whom admittedly there are a great many.

That's what I thought when I read the description of her act. Never seen her perform, the idea in Pure Q&A was "inspired" by other mediums that I have seen perform. I'm sure they were inspired by Sally, or vice versa, or perhaps we all just spontaneously came up with the same idea. Who knows. :D
