I have to agree with everything that BMAT posted, however the sad thing is that it needed to be said at all....clean hands, don't interrupt me when I'm eating etc. etc. all common sense, which unfortunately seems to be lacking nowadays.
Sitting texting during dinner whilst ignoring your fellow diners seems to be socially acceptable? I'm sure when this changed but can you imagine 4 people sitting at dinner and two of them reading books oblivious to anything going on around them, that basically is what they are doing. go figure!
So although I do not want to hijack the topic, I would be interested to know what do you do when you are invited to a table and one or more are texting?
