OMg! This is a country that is normally problem free, really not sure what must have sparked of something like this to happen??? I myself have visited this country in 2009 and in fact will be going back in June this year with the wife, but wont be doing any magic!!!

Probably nothing at all to do with the magic.
No doubt there would have been some other under lying problem between them.

I think you're right. It sounds like the perp was a complete nut job determined to find trouble.

Just as well he didn't visit the Magic Circle otherwise there would have been a bloodbath.
