Bubble mix

Postby Johnny Wizz » Mar 9th, '12, 13:57

Not exactly magic but I know we have some children's entertainers on this forum and I need a little help.

Do any of you make giant bubbles as part of your act? I have seen this being done to great effect and have bought a giant bubble wand, one with a fabric loop. The trouble is I just don't seem to be able to get my bubble mix quite right. I have tried the mix which came in the book with the wand, I have Googled half a dozen other mixes but I can't get a decent bubble from them.

Does anyone have the perfect recipe which they would be willing to share with me please?

I found this on Instructables. The guy gives his own formula: http://www.instructables.com/id/GIANT-bubble-blower/

Add a little sugar to the mix, it's naturally sticky and makes the bubbles much stronger.
