Whats your magic routine obession?

Postby sammy_789 » Mar 15th, '12, 10:28

Just wondering after watching Wizard product review with Matthew Garret, he proclamed that he has a obsession with the linking ring idea/routine.

and it got me thinking my obsession is Russian Roulette type routines, i love them. (dont no what this says about me as a person?? :? )

But yes, whats your obsession in magic? just wondering

4th dimension telepathy or book tests for me, spent a small fortune on book tests!

I'm quite a sucker for booktests too, I also seem to have a bit of a thing for chair tests at the moment as well.

I love reading any different method for routines such as Triumph, Out of This World, Oil and Water, and several others.

Cups and balls. I own quite a few different sets. I love the concept. I think it encompases all of magic, all genre's, its history you name it. But oddly, I don't have a routine. I never perform it. But it is my obsession. This is by far my favourite routine. Ricky Jay

I'm nurturing a whole love affair with darkness, evil and the supernatural, at the moment (I blame a certain Mr. Ward!); when you're lame, pale and sickly, it's the only way for your character to develop

The triumph plot will never ever be beaten for me.

I read every possible variation I can find and have quite a few versions myself.

Despite being barely a year and a bit into magic, I have become utterly obsessed with professor's nightmare plots.

I often idle away time playing with three ropes, moving between stances attempting to create the perfect routine for segueing into different themes and routines.

I love thinking about Q&A and two-person telepathy acts. Real magic.

Glad you said telepathy acts there as my mind went somewhere else

I have a soft spot for Q&A but guess it's all to do with sealed message reading!
