Hi,

I will soon be off on on me summer hols for a couple of weeks.
I would like to take along a book on magic that is highly recommended by other magicians and teaches me at least a couple of tricks that I can add to my growing repotoire. Any suggestions?

Should have given some background:
Paul Daniels sets when I was a kid - nothing in between, couple of kids myself now, got the bug again at Xmas.

I have already read, Corinda's 13 Steps, RRTCM, Derren Brown's Pure Absolute magic, How to win friends and influence people, some of bobos coin magic.

I had considered Mark Wilson complete course, but I wouln't regard myself as a beginner and I am am bit wary about reading about old routines that I may not find stimulating.

One book that has some seriously good reviews is Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz.

Not got any tricks in but is all about showmanship, misdirection and everything else that goes into getting that WOW factor rather than a "that was a really good trick...show me again" reaction.

I will be purchasing this tonight have a look at Reviews Request. I posted a request in there about this book and was given a link which gave some good reviews.
