Hi Allen,

even if I will not find the time to translate this booklet completely, I can offer you to take a look at it, to condense the relevant aspects for you ... and to translate it in my bloody English.
Obviously you would have some "linguistic inconveniences" and efforts in trying to decrypt my rapings of your language afterwards. 8)
But I would try my very best to keep my deliberations half way understandable - being a bloody foreigner anyway ;).

If this is helpful for you, drop me a line: heine@paralabs.org

Cheers
Th.

I worked and lived in Austria for a while in recent years and so was forced to become some what fluent in German. I could take a look at it for you, however, due to the nature of magic and not wanting to expose things to people who do not deserve to know, why don't you take a look at the bing translator online. It will come out in a little bit weird because of the grammar but not to the point that you wouldn't be able to understand it.

Thank you for such a quick reply hds and the kind offer of help.

I will send you the pages BUT do I send them to www.blurb above ???

Although I can tell you ALMOST everything you might want to know about Magic or Theatre-- computers are still a mystery at times for me!

AS I am not sure what you mean by 'bing translator on line' ??
Does that mean type 'bling translator into Google?

Many thanks

Great help for the future.

It works OK for me if I copy and paste the text, could you type the text into MS Word or other text only application then copy and paste into Bing - perhaps a paragraph at a time?

http://translate.google.com/ is another (in my experience) usually better alternative...

Allen, I believe you may have overlooked Thomas' offer to look for you. As he is German it's probably a good place to start. :)

No Ant I haven't. I sent it to Thomas and a SYNOPSIS of ther method came back within a very short time.
He was the first to offer great help.

But it is tedious translating all 5 and a half pages so he gave me the gist in most excellent English

What I need to do now is fill in the gaps as:
the History of the Kettle & Jugs
The History of the Colourings etc

Then I will have a full record of the trick

Thank you Ant

To Allen and to all those interested: my gf is a professional translator, so if you have short sentences or words to translate to/from French, Italian, Portuguese and English, don't hesitate to ask me. I cannot ask her to translate a long text for free (that's her job after all), but for short things there's no problem. Of course if you are willing to pay for her services, there's no length restriction.
Apart from that, I can do a fairly good job myself with Italian (of course as a favour: that is NOT my job after all), and I am more than willing to help anybody around here if I have the time.
