Last nght (Saturday March 24th) I was performing close-up for a bunch of students.
I was asked by one girl if I could predict the future.
Totally ad-lib I took her hand and gave a couple of convincers about her past (Barnum type statements.)
She quickly bought into the whole palmistry and psychic thing.

in a flash of insipration I told her that while she was asleep she would dream about a white rabbit that would take her into a time vortex and somehow one whole hour would just evaporate. When she wakes up her body clock, and her watch, would be one hour behind reality.

She looked puzzled but I gave her my business card and asked her to let me know if anything unusual happend.

This morning I got a text.
"OMG OMG OMG my watch is 1 hour behind the time on my phone, WTF ????"

I texted back to explain the clocks went forward one hour.

Got another text back
"OMG I forgot clocks changed today. I even looked under my bed for a white rabbit ! I feel so stooopid, but I'm laffing now.

In terms of effect and showmanship, this is like the modern equivalent of Tin Tin convincing a tribe of natives that he's a god purely because he knew the date of the next solar eclipse and he happened to be getting taken out for execution only minutes before it was due.
