I'm a bit perplexed about how
Cartomancy is in any way like
Til Death Us Do Part and
White Star. I have assumed that the first trick is the Alakazam one with a scratchcard; it's the sort of name that might be used for more than one effect, so maybe I am wrong.
Til Death Us Do Part and
White Star are more along the lines of bizarre, or storytelling, magic. The creator of those two pieces has another one called
The Fallen, but if you are keen on tricks with a strong back story, check out bizarre magic resources. There are a few people on this forum who have written things on this subject (try Lord Freddie and Stephen Ward for starters).
By the way, is it just me who is annoyed at the missing "l" in "Til"? It's either "until" or "till".
