Penguin Magic - My first order...

Postby Mianon » Jul 2nd, '05, 12:47

The Effect
I bought a few things.....

Review
This was my very first order from pengiun magic, at first everything went ok, they have great customer sales team who reply to quetions very fast, the delivery from USA took about a week, which is not bad really, but the thing that i am not happy about at all is hey charged me $12 for shipping, then when my parcel came today i saw that for them to post and pay for the package only cost them $7

I think this is not good at all, seen as that $7 will cover the cost of everything from the packaging to the van picking up all the parcels from the office.

So penguin overcharge for shipping but everything else is great, i am about to sit down and watch my jay sankey magus capsule dvd lol

There is a Penguin UK site though - why order from the US when you can go here and get free shipping to anywhere in Europe :?

I have to say that the navigation on the Penguin Europe site could be made less confusing than it is.

It would be a good move by Penguin to remove all pricing in Dollars from the European site and just quote in Sterling and Euro's. When you check out and pay for your purchases you get your bill in Dollars and not in the currency that you are paying in.

This shouldn't be too big a job in today's techno world.

Just a small, but rather important point, this section is for Reviewing Tricks, Illusions etc - not reporting how an on line order went!
