I have bought a few things from magic tao a few weeks ago. Since my purchase I have not heard from the shop and the parcel still hasn't arrived (and if I understand the website correctly, it still hasn't been shipped). I have tried contacted them several days ago, but received no answer.

Since is the first time I buy from them, I am someway perplexed and would like to be reassured: are these delays normal?

Hi Miko. This is strange situation! the site seems to be up and running not sure why you haven't had any contact with them? 3 weeks is a long time to be waiting for your products to arrive. There is the possibility they may have got lost on the way? This happened to me a few years ago. Hopefully you should be able to contact them on monday and resolve this problem. Good luck Garry.

The Tao is one of the most highly-respected shops in the business, so it's strange that you've not heard from them.

Was the item you ordered a pre-release?
