Someone had mentioned using a tt, w a sigarette. Here's a tid bit.
If using tt to vanish a lit sig. generally that tt is vanished correct by your favourite method.
To prevent after time that nasty dark spot on the inside of the tt before vanishing -(exstinguishing)
the sig into the tt place a little wad of wet cotton inside the tt it also prevents from getting burned.
The sig goes out fast and clean.

A layer of aluminum foil also helps to prevent burning the TT.
