I love equivoque - Who's with me?

Postby LoveKey1988 » Apr 30th, '12, 21:53

So I am actually a hobbyst for now and just got back into mentalism after a big break.

I actually love magic as well but mostly mentalism.

So this evening I just demonstrated some things to my sister while we were talking and one of them was just a simple equivoque between 4 objects on the kitcken table.

Now she was kinda speachless when I revealed the prediction. Se was asking all kind of things like....how did you know? really...You tought I was gonna get rid of the knife because .....

I just did something involving the 4 aces, the packet of cards and equivoque to my brother some days ago and like my sister he didn't find anything funny as in how the choices were made.

So yes when done right equivoque looks like a real premonition or something. I just love it.

Who also thinks that equivoque is great?

Regards, Marian

Presented well, it can be a simple but powerful routine. I liked Docc Hillford's booklet on it.

Even a PATEO force can hit hard if you do it right.

~points at lol and rofl

Docc Hillford did a great webinar on his "E'voque" recently. He makes it possible for the spectator to change their mind - which is a very, very powerful convincer IMHO.

The Docc Hilford that has been recommended is amongst the best I've read. It's available as an ebook in a compilation. It has a good collection of other material in. The doccinar can be bought and viewed too, which offers some good tips. Both the book and the doccinar discuss the origins of the technique and other material available. Max Maven's verbal control is the other work most often recommended. Its only a little thing, but has some very useful advice. Max Maven's effect Bwave is worth looking at as well for the magicians choice.
