book?

Postby Doctor180185 » May 9th, '12, 17:25

Can anyone suggest an instructional magic book where I can find card tricks that do not require gimmicks or a lot of preparation? I am skilled in card sleights such as the Elmsley count, etc, so I am looking for a book with tricks that rely on these sorts of moves alone.

Any suggestions?

Why not Google Allan Ackerman or check out his contributions on Lybrary.com?

Paul Gorden has a number of books out that may contain what you are looking for.

Looking for a challenge, try Drawing Room Deceptions by Guy Hollingworth. Defiantly one of my favorite book out there on card magic.

Try Andrew Galloway's diverting card magic or The Card Magic of Nick Trost.

Brilliant material in both that requires no set up or gimmicks.

i'd suggest Card College by Roberto Giobbi.
ranges from the very basic to the very advanced,
each chapter deals with a different sleight, or type of sleight, and then tricks using those sleights.
best book on card magic for beginners or advanced students of card magic - in my opinion.
