Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

P.S. nice to meet another contact juggler. I now refer to myself as a jugglician ;)

I totally see your point. But the act I'm thinking off is based just for magicians, therefore the CJ to zombie would actually work as there's no way to load the gimmick, nudge nudge.

I'll try and find time to video my CJ this weekend and post

Where did you Len contact juggling, Lawrence? I tried to learn it from a book a while ago and quit when I nearly put the ball through a tv screen in the living room...

Are there better resources out there?

Have a look at YouTube, the Brinechild vids are good.
You could also check out contactjuggling.org, oh and get a 100mm stage ball to learn with- your furnishings will thank you :)

Bingo!

Also, get along to a juggling convention; it's so much easier when being taught by an actual person.

to answer your question; I learnt at a university juggling society

You should look at the work of Raymond Crowe,
His Naked Zombie, being a method of handling the ball, without the gimmick.

The Zombie has always loved good Mimes. . . look up Greg Otto, he had a hilarious Zombie bit back in the 80s

I nearly forgot that Jeff McBride has a unique handling on the Zombie as well. You may need to contact Mark Stevens @ Stevens Magic Emporium here in the States in that it I think it was an exclusive item; a special gimmick and video. It sold for something like $150.00 if memory serves me right.
