What a vile cretin! As for his sentencing, a 3 year Community Order??? If it had been down to me, I'd have him dancing the Lambeth Jig tomorrow.

The article talks about his receiving/welcoming treatment for his compulsion. Do you favour executing all people who desperately want help with their mental health problems, or just those with self-destructive addictions?

If a short prison sentence won't give time for a treatment programme, why not a long one?

This is agree with. It's easier to follow the regime prescribed if you can't avoid the appointments. I hope he gets good support to continue his treatment once he's out.

The problem with locking him up and throwing away the key is that alot of these magicians know how to escape from handcuffs and straightjackets. Also the guillotine has often proven to be a useless tool against them.

Ha, am now imagining opening titles to Porridge but with judge saying "you are sentenced to 3 years in a Zigzag Box" (c:

Do you know how these people mostly get caught? They pay for the images, thereby leaving an indelible electronic trail. Because money is involved, there's always some evil sleaze ready to make such images - thereby destroying young lives.

Its worse than that Tomo, it says in the court report that he admitted running a website for sharing the pictures around his close friends and paedo mates. I wonder how many other magicians were involved in it.

If one of your kids was one of those in his collection, would you still take the same nauseatingly liberal viewpoint?

He only wanted help for it once he got caught. I can imagine him asking for help now: "Please Your Worship, have mercy on me a poor sick man etc etc etc...."

Yes, the poor paedophile...
He knew what he was doing. He wasn't declared insane and sectioned was he?
Clueless idiots that defend people like this would take a different tact if it was closer to home.
For every sick person committing the most inhumane and depraved crime there's always some clueless do-gooder willing to fight their corner and "understand" them. Worrying...
