So I suppose this would be the ideal place for my first post on this forum. Make an introduction. My name of course is Tom and I'm a 23 living in the South East, Kent. I've been involved with magic for the longest time and although I've not officially worked as a magician on a regular basis, I have had several paid performances as well as performing for other reasons, to name a few, talent based shows (nothing as terrible as the stuff you see Simon Cowell produce) and some for free functions.

The style of magic I perform is largely based at the table, cards and close-up, and I prefer to go for a more professional approach to presenting it. None of this street style, look at me while I make something catch fire to cover up for my lack of charisma. I'm aware that there are good performers and magicians who do that out there and so don't want to offend people in my first post, but I'm sure you know what I'm getting at. Anyway it seems as though I've gone off topic here so I'll stop.

I hope to be able to contribute some useful information and help out anyone I can as I hope to be able to utilize this forum and it's members in the same way. I look forward to communicating with you all and perhaps joining up if there are any get together's in the area.

There are a few of us around, I'm in Pluckley and I think there are one or two in the Dartford area.
