What sort of occasion are you looking at? Is it something like a fair at the hospice with other people or just you trying to raise money? There are several people on the board who can offer good advice on this if you list a few more details. If it's tricks for the elderly at a hospice you might want to look here

This weekend would be a perfect oppertunity.
Get down your local er... locations... that have events on and try it out there.

I'm at a charity gig doing balloons and magic today, tomorrow and tuesday.

Alternatively, ask the lottery.

Hopefully the weather didn't spoil your fundraising for this long weekend. I'm not sure what it was like where you are, but where I was it was grim, not as grim as it looked for the Royals on the river though.

If you're attempting to raise money though, have you hear of this site? No doubt there are others like it but this sprung to mind when I read your post.

www.gofundme.com

I've not actually used them, but they have links with an oversea's volunteer company.

yeah, it went well thankyou, at first i found it alitlle hard because everyones attentoin was on the boats at the thems, but then people started to get unintrested in the boats and thats where i raised themajorityof the money.

the website looks good aswell, thanks, i think i will do better trying to go down the route of doing actual gigs (rather than going to parks etc) and then giving the money to charity and will also help me get a bit more expiriance !! :D

or does anyone have any other suggestions ?
