I've heard glowing reports of the Brahmin bowl set (3 bowls) which include a full routine (rice to more rice to water etc). This will set you back about $50, I think.

There are cheaper rice bowls out there, and if you're unsure about whether to buy them, consider how they fit in your act.

I'd class them as messy and bulky, but I prefer cards and coins, so it depends what kind of performance you do.

They're a good children's prop, I presume, as there can be quite a lot of visual comedy.

try a dove / chick pan instead more versatile and a better price / construction ratio.

my set back in the eons of time were plastic, but i have used wooden and metal versions the metal version being a lota bowl as well

it depends on who you present the trick its not great for close up and takes a lot of practice and your relient on physiscs most of the time.

that said you get what you pay for, so you have to decide do you want to make it a feature of your act or just a filler and buy accordingly.

i give this a difficulty rating of 7, 10 being the hardest card/coin slight in the world 1 being its all done for you.
