There is a ridiculous rumour going around that I have started my own magic forum. I want to state here and now that this is absolutely untrue. I have utterly no intention or desire to do such a thing. Alas however, two idiotic magicians have not only spread this rumour but have actually started a forum pretending that it is owned and operated by me. They have been posting under my name and pretending it is me posting. They have been copying my style of writing. Not only that they have taken some of my posts from other forums and posted it on this fake site under my name. That way some of the posts are by me and some are not. However, NONE of the posts purporting to come from me are authorised by me.

I just thought I would put the record straight so that nobody is given a false impression. Running a magic forum is of no interest to me. I do not have the expertise nor the patience.

Sorry to hear that you've been targeted in such a personal way, Mark; I'm sure you're already under advisement, but you should certainly (if you've not already) contact the host of the forums domain, making them aware of the fraudulent activities.

So as not to excite any comments here, which could be viewed as gossipy or counterproductive to your definitive message on the subject, I'm locking this head or you now.
