Bob Jardine's effect "Serendipity" published in Harry Lorayne's Apocalypse magazine volume 6 February 1983 is identical to Jerry Sadowitz's "Come Together" which was published a year before in Alternative Card Magic in 1982?? Is this plagiarism at it's most blatant?!

Blatant or ancient! I am sure that knowing Jerry, he will have already had words long ago, if it were neccessary!

and I think I can guess which particular words he would have used.....

So we're discussing a perceived problem that goes back twenty nine years?

Was just wondering if any one else had picked up on material from Apocalypse being similar to other effects that had been published before...sorry..

Regrettably the idea of recycling previously published material is quite commonplace - change the name, tweak the presentation, add a large dollop of hype and there you go - another 'must have' release for all the youtube/armchair magicians!
