Frankly, this piece seriously ticked me off in that it's a 5th grade science demonstration . . . I actually learned it when I was in the 5th grade which was 1970 or there about.
Paper Crane puts out a lot of questionable products but this is certainly the most
criminal piece they've produced thus far. The company has a grotesque sense of inability when it comes to honesty and giving credit to routines where that credit is due; Power Word Fall comes from a Losander lecture for an example. Portions of their Bleeding Eyes & Bleeding Palms/finger-tips comes from several Bizarre Magick sources including my own published notes "Stigmata" from the late 1990s. The list goes on from there with noted personalities of Mentalism and Bizarre Magick loudly expressing concern, starting with Paolo Cavalli one of the crafts most respected innovators (now retired).
SPIN is a variation to the old PSI SPINNER made popular in the 1960s (maybe even earlier), a simple piece of foil sat on a needle point beneath a bell dome type glass and yet, one could make it spin left or right at "will". . . the late Ted Lesley actually put out a version of this a few years prior to his passing (that works on an alternate method, I should add).
One other thing I'll point out about Paper Crane that Paolo brought to my attention a couple of years ago. Seems that these clowns are so impressed with their video production that they share the complete reels -- the full secrets we pay for -- on a few forums dealing with video techniques, editing, etc. for the sake "feed back". . . yet, we're looking at exposure not to mention duplicity; taking our money while giving the information away for free to a different group.
I honestly admired this company at first glance but the material I've seen from them as well as the various practices they are proven to follow, gripes me to no end. . . and it's something I've shared more than a few times over the past few years, so as they say,
"Buyer Beware!"
