My copy arrived on Saturday - an excellent book and, as Allen says, is chock full of pictures of TGL, and his contemporaries, Beauty, the various theatres and places he lived or visited. A fascinating piece of history, well worth a tenner.

Thanks Allen, I managed to get a bit of time today while at work and was happy with the book. There is plenty of info and images to keep me reading for a while.. I do hope I don't get sidetracked?? The reason I am saying this is I got reading a book on Robert Houdin, about 10 months ago and still have the book stuck on page 50.
