Favoruite Ambitious Card Routine?

Postby Aza » Sep 7th, '12, 11:17

I'm torn between Bill Malone's ACR (with card in pocket "i don't even have a pocket") Tommy Wonder's ACR (with card revealed in box on full view at the end) or Daryl's ACR (with tied deck ending)

If anybody else has any personal favourite Ambitious Card Routines they could recommend me to watch to further inspire my own it would be appreciated!

Much love

Daryl's ACR was the first magic DVD I bought and I still material from it!
It's a full description of his FISM winning ACR act with a bundle of extra moves that can be used in an ACR as well.
I've never used to rope tie ending as (IMHO) it's only practical with a prolonged ACR, which I just don't do.

I have also previously done the Malone card to "pocket" bit and on occasion still do a card to viewed box bit.
Saying that I still reccommend Daryl's!

It was mentioned on the Omni deck thread, but my favourite routine is the Martin Sanderson one from the Corporate Close Up DVD. It's just the right length (ooer) and has enough variety that it doesn't turn into a constant put the card in the pack, oooh look it's back on the top malarky.

mine would be a tie between Daryl and Tommy Wonder.

Both different styles, but awesome routines.

I also like the premise of David Regal's routine. Dont want to expose anything but its a different slant to the normal plot of an ACR.

I do my Ambitious Card Routine with a Svengali. Yes, it's the height of magical laziness. No, I don't care.

Not lazy at all, if a Sven works for you and presentation is so much more important than method in my opinion!

If i have people hanging on my every word they don't give a monkeys about the pack of cards

No reason why you shouldn't use a Sven, the specs won't know and what they don't know won't hurt them  !
