Crossroads vs silent running??

Postby seamagu » Sep 21st, '12, 11:24

Hi,

Mods, please feel free to move this to a more appropriate section.

I've been reading reviews of crossroads and silent running and they sound a bit too good to be true.

My question is, would I need to buy crossroads before I could get silent running?
Or Would silent running 3 provide me with the workings of the effect??
Also, can anyone recommend either of these?

thanks,

Sea.

Crossroads is great. Benny is my favourite character.

I much prefer Miss Dianne.....

Taking the topic even further off course onto that long deceased Midlands based soap, but still cleverly incorporating a magic theme, Miss Dianne married Vice Parker (played by Peter Brookes) who was a Postman. The chap who played the character of the postman before that was Allen Merrell - a local comedy magician. Not a lot of people know that....

Poor Sandy.

Also - Silent Running is quite the process - the general response has been that magicians don't like it but mentalists do. It takes a bit of showmanship for it to be properly deceptive.

That's true of so many effects and routines - presentation is everything!
