maybe... depends on where you get it and no

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

You could always perform a casual switch with an identical, palmed coin.

IMHO this isnt really the best penetration effect...now if your looking for a defenite good one then check out a pen thru bill effect...theres many out there and if your a fan of the sharpies and use them often then get a sharpie thru bill

nope, bit if you buy the cig thru coin effect, you should be able to prepare your own cig/pencil thru card or something.

To put it politely, the two men to which Blaine performed the cigarette-though-the-coin trick were "not all with it. I do agree that showmanship can save the day in many cases.

If you don't want the pen through banknote trick then you could always try A.E 02 available from magictricks.co.uk. Failing that, the pen through banknote trick looks simple, but on about 20 people I've performed it on no one has figured it out yet!

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

The Perfect pen is a very good penetration effect. John Cornellius adjusted his old pen to create a much better version. It is not cheap at around £35 but worth the money.

Cig thru coin is a really good trick if you can do a decent coin switch. You can then borow a coin to do it with.

Pen thru banknote is brilliant. the higher the denomination of note you borrow the better.
