First of all Seymour and I have come to an understanding of one another and think he's woken-up to the fact that he stumbled a bit. That said I should point out something that BMAT hinted at in his post -- he uses half-dollars because he does a coin matrix prior to coin in a bottle. He's using what' on hand and proves the most logical in that environment. My suggestion of going with a quarter centers on the fact that they are far more common than half-dollars in everyday life these days. . . then again, there is an argument supporting the idea of having a quarter, half-dollar and silver-dollar at the ready, allowing you to cover bases for when that smart-a** challenges you with such.

The Card Work referred to here Seymour, centered on my encouraging you to choose between Close-up and Stage, which was prompted by one of your other posts concerning Canes. It's not that you can't do both, it's more of a matter of focusing on one thing and seeing it through before starting on the other -- prioritizing, if you would. Based on our conversations in the past few days (*PM) I think stage should be your area of key focus, when it comes to career planning. When it comes to what practical for you to do in the here & now, it's most certainly close-up work and keeping what you do "fresh". As Bmat points out, we've not seen you work so it's impossible to make an educated recommendation on things, and when we add to that my personal aversion toward card work (I think too many magic buffs get addicted to card tricks and fail to discover how much bigger magic actually is). Never the less, it sounds as if you're good at it, so hold to the effects that will bolster the character you want to be seen as in the next 3-5 years both, on stage as well as table-side. . . I'm thinking Playboy/James Bond but I may be wrong.

I've heard of an effect in which a signed card ends up in the empty bottle as well as one where an entire deck seems to penetrate the glass. . . maybe that would be a more appropriate spin on things for you?

Thank you all, I got my package yesterday, so my coins are all good again I got a new supply of flash paper and mini coins. Yes, stage is my goal, it's taken over a decade(nearly two) to get to where I am in magic, I hope I have eneough of a lifetime left to get to where I want to go
