Hi Guys,

Really pleased so many of you have included my effects in this thread and the other (favourite Walkaround/Table tricks)

Its so nice to think others are getting use from them. As a creator when we put are material out there you never know what others will use. So glad to see so many using the different routines and getting so much from them. I hope you have as much fun with them as myself.
Some of my other favourites other than my usual ones and the others mentioned are -

Kicked right Back - Gary Jones
One short of a full Deck - Gary Jones
Stop here - Myself (coming soon maybe :D)
iTear
Back in Time - Sankey (his best effect ever)
Third Degree
Coming Together - Paul Green

You can search my youtube channel for performances on nearly all of these.

I have a few new pieces from others on a new project that I am using a lot at the moment. I will post the names here when it is out.

Thanks to all.

There is a sort of "in their hands" OOTW that is designed for stand-up. It's called "Into My World" and is by Daniel Young. I have it in his volume Compendia, which is available through Lybrary.

Simon Scott

If the spectator doesn't engage in the effect,
then the only thing left is the method.

For quick in the hands stuff I like Twins, Doc Daleys Last Trick, Twisting The Aces, Colour Monte, there's also a lovely Monte type effect on Michael Ammars Easy To Master Card Miracles series of DVD's, Disk 5 I think which is called the Virginnia City Shuffle. Great effect that really blows the mind but very simple. If you can get to some sort of surface to pop your cards on there I really, really, really do recommend that you buy The Spiral Principle and Beyond by Stephen Leathwaite.

The beyond section of this DVD has a truly stunning Out Of This World effect that is the best i've ever worked with, really clean, amazingly simple but absolutely mind blowing for spectators. It's worth the money for the DVD just for this effect.

My only problem is nerves now. I used to perform quite a bit in clubs and pubs, for friends, relatives, birthday parties. I took a break from magic for around 3 years and my hands shake terribly badly when I begin any type of effect. If I have one beer, I can seem to get it under control. Don't know if anyone else has this kind of issue??
