The best thing you can do is start at the bottom, basic working up the stages to advanced. The worst thing you can do is start at advanced, as it can and dose lead to problems in the long run.

Sorry Hawk but that doesn't come close to providing an answer to the question that was asked - which was what tricks do you recommend.

I'll go as far as to say that if you start at advanced level then you will have problems in the short term, never mind the long run
