A dupe and a SF (PM me if you don't know what I mean by SF)

this won't work with a signed card though. There are quite a few CTB methods, some sold as effects in their own right.

Why can't you palm it? That'd be by far the easiest way to do it.

Make it your forte. Just do it. Okay start with a gamblers cop, once you see how easy it is to get away with stuff the classic palm won't be so daunting. Trust me.

Stop practicing it and perform it. How do you know that you don't do it very well if you have only been practicing and not performing? You will be amazed.

I've PM'd you. If you can't get on with palming, buy an Extractor. It attracts the least heat of any method I know and adds a layer of impossiblity to any 'card to...' routine.

I have recently been learning the Mercury card fold, which is a great way of stealing the card from the deck in a more, let us say, compact form. I was learning it from expert card technique, though I'm somewhat ashamed to say I found Jay Sankey's teaching on Paperclipped more useful.

Also means you can have the card reappear in more unusual places because of its reduced form factor.

Indeed, the MCF is very useful for palming a card if you have small hands too!

There's another way to make a card vanish from a pack in "World's Beyond" by Paul Curry. Again it won't work with a signed card.

Or use a no-palm CTW.

beat me to it, best gimmick ever as far as I am concerned, used it at a gig last night for tables with the signed card appearing in a ring box on the table, always goes down a treat

Are you watching closely? Then I'll begin...

Don't be ashamed. I too learned it from Jay Sankey live and in person. He did an excellent teaching job.
