sorry guys been busy pushing georges book, it probably pure coincidence but... when I'm not around our local cafe then bussines dies... when I am they get an increase in custom so much so that they actualy call me in for free coffee.

its not a tangable thing it just seems to happen, that reminds me must pop down the crypts and check on the stores and give thoughs tombstones a polish.....

I'd noticed how quiet it's been. I am more of a reactive poster than a thread starter, so I wait for someone else to start things off!

I wish I had time to write some reviews (which would involve me having time to finish reading the books in order to write the reviews), which in turn involves me starting to read those books...).

I've sort of retreated into my studies so haven't posted as much.

Nature of the beast I would think, there tends to be a flurry of posts that interest people and that in turn means those people start posting new threads...and then we will have lulls...and someone will post something to interest people again!

This is what happens when you stop feeding the trolls.

Also this thread got a lot of response so its not that there isn't people wanting to post. I think it is just a lull. Perhaps after the holidays when everyone has their toys things will get better.

But I'll try a new thread just for the heck of it in just a bit.

And here I thought that was my mothers job.

Its the Christmas build up for me, getting ready for the bust period in school. So knackered until January.

I've been enjoying a full-time tech blogging gig since April. That's my excuse...

Every time I have a question I always seem to find the answer on the search, its just not as fun.

Is it just me or suddenly the forum has sprung back to life? I cannot keep up with the new posts! O_O

One thing that people dont seem to do on this forum is discuss trivial things .

I find magic cafe good for lurking as it seems as if every topic has been discussed

Having said that people on this forum are dead sound and helpful and no one trys to get one up on another member by showing how smart they are etc.I mean if we all notice its quiet then maybe we should start posting topics on thoughts ,ideas etc.It must be catch 22 as we all seem to be waiting on others opinnions.
