Well, I must say that this was a surprise! I am flattered and grateful to have made the cut, and to have been lumped in with the likes of Voodini and Tomo....either I did something right, or they did something horribly wrong (which I somehow doubt).

I am thankful for the support and encouragement!

Best,

Atlas

Thank you very much folks, wasn't expecting this at all. Well done to all the winners.

I too am interested to hear the meaning behind Dales post.

Let's not spoil what should be a nice thread by hassling Dale. There are lots of things he might have meant and, while the possible interpretations I've come up with are what I would view as potentially fair comment, I think they might take the shine off for the winners.

Well done to everyone who won.

Wow!!

Thanks for who ever voted for me as joint winner with Lenoir.

What an absolute surprise!! Which video was it? :?:

Thank you once again. Brilliant idea these awards. Well done to all the winners and the ones who just missed out.

I may have been born yesterday but I stayed up all night.

Thanks guys! Don't come in here as often as I should, but Talk Magic was the place where I first stepped foot into the world of cyber-magic so to win an award means a lot. Have a great Christmas! :D

No-one is hassling Dale, we're simply asking what he meant. I had thought perhaps it was just a joke, however considering the fact he's been on at least twice after the meaning was questioned and hasn't answered makes me think otherwise. If Dale thinks that one or more of us shouldn't have got an award then fair enough, that is his opinion. But to voice that opinion (or give that impression) on the actual awards thread is just plain rude.

Considering this I think its perfectly reasonable that we should ask what was meant by the post.

Ok. enough. Nobody was hassling me until now Jim. Lord knows why you feel i should post any comments . But for YOUR benefit,

I shall simply say this.

Its a great shame that people didn't make as much fuss over Allen when he was alive, as they are now he has gone.

Because , i can assure you he would of hated it.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

Well could you not have just said that in the first place, instead of a post that you must have known would have been questioned ? Joining in a thread, rolling your eyes, and then leaving without a word, especially in a context such as this is not very polite at all. Obviously SOMEONE was going to question its meaning. Surely the thread listing the winners of the awards is not the appropriate place for such a post. And I reiterate, I (and others don't forget) was simply asking what you meant, so the implication in your first paragraph that I, and only I, want an answer and that I am hassling you is ridiculous.

I may have taken your post the wrong way, and in hindsight perhaps my last post was a little hasty, being written from assumptions - for this I apoligise. But in all fairness I wasn't the only one who took your post in this way, or questioned its meaning. The fault is in your original post which, I'm sure you'll admit does look like a case of sour grapes.
