I like the effect of it turning down, I can perform the colour change, but choose not to. Its more noticable on camera if its upside down, as you cant see the pips or edges of the cards properly.
Since that clip, I have worked on Starry Eyed, like you said, sped it up a little, but just didn't record it again, and its getting smoother.
I work in a casino, I have for the last 5 years, so the chip work is almost second nature, but those chips are new, and havn't lost the finish on them, so very slippery. Once they get some gambler sweat and grime on them, it looks sweet
