Very nice - I'm sure John Gaughan would make one of these for you in return for a very large amount of money!

Have you seen the one John restored that's at the Magic Castle?

He also restored The Turk, but that's another story unto itself.

The Turk was featured a while ago in the TV series The Secret World of Magic by UK magi Pete Firman and Ali Cooke who visited John's workshop, played against The Turn and tried out a few of John's own magical creations.

One must be brave to enter John's shop given the dozen or so guard parrots he has on patrol. . . the will reach down from the rafters and give you a good bite or just steal your hat. . . I nearly had a terrible experience at the old shop one afternoon in that I wear lots of shiny earrings. . . shiny metal + bird with big beak can result in some ugly happenstance :?

John is a genius however, and since he's teamed up with Stinemeyer and a few other brilliant minds, he seems nearly unbeatable. Thankfully he was the guiding force behind a young Bill Smith who now carries forward the Gaughan legend and then some; the two being responsible for some uncanny advancements in illusion design and improved deception methods.
