Hi all from Devon UK

Hi all I am new here,
I live in Devon in the south west of the UK and am 26, also have a 6 year old daughter,
Just started to get in to magic only trick I really know is the vanishing tooth pick lol (Thanks Masked Man),
I have got a book that I got from a charity shop that shows some basic tricks that I am trying to get the hang off,
Card tricks is the one thing I would like to have a go at so an advice will be great thanks.
Hope to enjoy my time here
