Hello everybody.
Trying to find the name of a book I had years ago. It was written by Paul Daniels and If I remember right it was A4 size? All I can remember is the book had this amazing routine in it where by your'e telling the story of a man who is going either to Heaven or Hell and as your telling the story you are folding and cutting up a sheet of paper and your left with the shape of a cross which can then be folded open and the pieces spell out the word "HELL". There is another trick in it which I sometimes do to this day. A person deals cards face down and stops wherever they like then an envelope (which has been in full view during the trick) is dropped on top of the dealt pile and on the envelope is written the word compulsion and the card in the envelope is the same as the card the person stopped at. Thanks for reading this I hope someone can help as I'de love to get a copy of this book again.
PS. I'm not sure if compulsion was the name of the trick in the book? If not it would have been a word with the same meaning.
