They say :
In the early 1990's, Ted Karmilovich began developing early versions of what many believed would become, along with Larry Becker's Flashback, one of the two greatest booktests of our generation. For a time, only members of The Legendary Thirteen had access to Ted's booktest. Then, in 1996, lightning struck the world of mentalism. The Mother Of All Book Tests was released. It retailed for $350 and was (and is) worth more than twice as much to any professional performer. I treasure my copy and use it all the time.
Later that year, I called Ted and performed what would become known as Mother's Home Companion, right on the phone. He was stunned. At the time, he called The Mommy Maneuver "a wonderful no-pump solution." With his blessing, I released MHC to a few colleagues and quietly let it remain moderately underground. It's been out of print and unavailable ever since.
In 2003, I produced a new, expanded version of MHC which enables the performer to perform MOAB as cleanly and comfortably as before, but for two people at once, effectively doubling the value of your investment. So if you're lucky enough to own Ted's sensational Mother Of All Book Tests, you can now perform the MOAB presentation that stunned its own creator ... for one or two people!
As a surprise bonus, read how I did the first long distance performance of MOAB by phone, from Pittsburgh, PA (USA) to Dublin, Ireland. Another testament to the value and flexibility of the amazing MOAB. After all these years, mentalists the world over still owe Ted Karmilovich an internationally collective THANK YOU!
If you perform The Mother, you want her Companion!
I Say :
You get a nicely produced, soft bound A4 book, with about 24 pages. Most important to note is that, you must already own the MOABT, for this to be of any use. Without the MOABT this has no value, with it, Richard Busch claims that you double the value of your MOABT.
Richard writes in his own inimitable style. Some say he uses 3 words when 1 will do. I say, why not. He gets his point across, and it’s a pleasing read.
So what do you actually get? What you really get, is probably the best way possible of defining the information you need, to use the MOABT most effectively. This is not another rehash of someone else idea. It is something unique and is very nicely described, in such a way that you know you could pick up your MOABT and use it – now, today, in real life. This is not vapourware, not is it something that’s – a nice idea, but would stay on the shelf.
The manual actually has eight sections, so plenty of food for thought, but Richard’s ‘Mommy Maneuver’, is the one you are paying for, and well worth the cash, I say.
Overall :
Great. A nice read, and something that lets you use the MOABT in the best way you ever will. If you have the Mother, get her companion !
Rating : 9.9/10.
