This is an effect I'm trying to do at the moment. It's the same idea of healed and sealed but instead of refilling a can of coke/beer etc. you refill a bag of crisps. I have a good way of making it, just working out how to make it finish examinable. The effect would go like this: you finish a bag of crisps and show the inside of the bag to show it is empty, then you turn the bag upside down and open it form the other side and continue to eat more crisps from the other end of the bag. I think it would be a cool funny little trick if I could pull it off.

What do you think?

It would a really good effect but it is hard for us to help you seeing as it's your own trick and we have no idea how it works.

Try and work on it and show us a video of the effect!

Yeah the way I have thought of would need a gimmicked bag. Admitadly the amount of crisps you could hide would be small but still I'll give it a go. I still have not come up with a way if makin git examinable unless you just screwed the bag up after the gag.

Well, if you're only getting one or two crisps why not finger palm them one at a time then pretend you're taking them out of the bag...

May not seem much of a point but if its healed and selaed, doesn't it need to be 'healed' (not just refilled) and sealed?
obviously if you screw up the plastic packet, it will unfold, but not to its full extent, if you screw it up lightly, and you have a few crisps 'waiting to reappear' then it might wor a little better, if you already seal the gimmicked part of the bag, then you can open it twice, so after oyu have shown it empty, you can open it again and pull a crisp out after showing your hand empty, then fingerpalm the rest or the same one. If this doesn't help I hope it will spur some of your mind's cogs.

hmm yeah some interesting points there. And yeah that kind of container was kinda what I had in mind too Mandrake. I know it's not technically healed and sealed, as I would not reseal the bag but just open it the other end. So really it would be just refilled. The way I have of doing it is very similar to the change canister thechnique, but with a bag. I will try to make it as soon as possible then I'll get a video up.

How about you gimmick the bag as per Allmagic, eat the crisps out of one side, show the bag is empty by letting specs peep into the bag and/or inverting it with the open end downwards to prove there's nothing in it but crumbs, secretly rotate the bag to open a sealed bag, produce more crisps and tip them out into a bowl (otherwise you'd have to eat a lot of crisps very quickly or only have a few coming out of the bag which would be very suss) and then inflate the bag and burst it - thus destroying the evidence?

Of course it depends on the make of the crisps as to how you make it work - honest!

Flavour doesn't come into play though!

how about just sticking 2 packs back to back but have one upside down, open one bag empty it spin the pack and turn over... open it again!! use chepo ones that you dont get much in.. should work

For ending clean, how about doing a torn and restored crisp bag with the gimmick therefore switching it for a normal empty bag which you could throw to the ground (giving ample misdirection to ditch the pieces of the gimmick in a topit or servante) where it can be later discovered by the spectators to be completely normal.
