The bright, hot and sunny Sunday morning of 7 July 2013 saw the first magicians workshop led by two of the UK’s most well-known and prolific working magicians, Steve ‘The Gent’ Jones and Chris ‘Congy’ Congreave.

Although primarily targeting the enthusiast and intermediate magician looking to progress their magic (and possibly their career) to another level, there is something for every magician on this workshop whatever their level. That said, I would suggest that anyone who has more than a passing knowledge of magic are likely to be those who will get most out of this workshop.

The content was plentiful (maybe a little too plentiful for the first workshop) but relevant and superbly delivered and illustrated with effects and demonstrations where needed or asked for. Every single item of advice, demonstration or explanation was pure magical gold, more than worthy of the moderate price of the workshop that also included refreshments, and freebies that you will actually use in your act!

You could not ask for two better tutors. Gary and Chris’s experience just shone through in everything they said and did. The pragmatism and humour with which they delivered this workshop just made the whole day seem more like a fun day out than a classroom learning experience. You’ll not want to leave for laughing!

As a course participant who forked out his own hard earned cash and gave up his own free time to spend with these guys and some other fellow magicians, I cannot recommend this workshop enough. Don’t just take my word for it guys, try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Thanks Guys,
dgmagic
