I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this?

but i received an email today from Joshua Jay at Vanishing Inc (link below) offering a collection of magic theory at over 500 pages long for free!!!

It has contributions from Juan Tamariz, Teller, Derren Brown, Houdin, Rene Levand, Ascanio, Darwin Ortiz...

So far i have read the contents and it sounds like it will be rather a good read...

It does look brilliant!

Looks to me like a marketing ploy of some sort. I am a bit cynical of free offers.

Clearly there is a marketing aspect as you have to join the site and they are hoping to get sales, having said that the book is a good read as well.

Having already joined the site, I got the book no problem.

My hat is off to Mr Jay and the peeps at Vanishing. This document is an invaluable resource for those striving for excellence in their work.

555 Pages.... plenty of reading there!

Paul Pacific will always take something that is free. He took the offer and thinks the book is terrific with over 500 pages. He hates reading it on a computer though and wishes it was a real book. It seems to be essays that have already been published in all sorts of other well known books.

Spot on, the contents are culled from other works and there's a bibliography showing ehere each came from.
