Magic/appearing/folding STURDY table

Postby manicmiranda » Apr 30th, '13, 15:35

Hello all!

I feel like I'm searching for the holy grail and wondered if anyone might be able to help me.

I'm looking for a sturdy appearing/flash/harbin table somewhere/ANYWHERE within the UK.

It doesn't really matter which design it is, but if it could hold about a Kg that would be great. I've been scouring the internet, researching which is best, but when it comes to actually finding someone who sells one, I've drawn a blank.

I would put this in the 'wanted' section, but I don't think I'm allowed to post as I'm a noob. It's to hold a case or box on that I can pull stuff out of rather than any tricks, hence my emphasis on 'sturdy'. The only ones I've managed to find are the tiny flash tables which look great for cards and light objects, but sadly not for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone can point Miranda in the direction of a good place to obtain one, it would be much appreciated.

What ones have you found? Uday make one that stands about two and a half to three feet tall (at a very rough guess), but I am not sure if it's strong enough for your purposes (or indeed good enough). Shame Five of Hearts isn't doing them at the moment.

Mike Danata stocks the metal style and I'm sure he'd be able to give you an honest answer about whether it will suit your purposes. The video suggests it might just about be strong enough to hold 1 kg. http://www.mikedanatasmagicstudio.co.uk ... essories#2

Because of the way they are constructed, I am not sure they are ever up to carrying much weight.
