For years I have used David Hemingway's Road Sign effect. Prior to that I used 'High Signs' from the Unique Magic Studio a much smaller prop. For those that are not familiar with the effect it is a Chinese Compass effect with patter relating to road signs. Now I am not sure of the correct name for the Hemingway version so that is my question. What is the published name?

The Hemingway version, so far as I know, is no longer available but for myself it has proved to be the very best comedy opener with a super applause bringing climax. My prop, whilst used a lot over time is still in remarkably good condition and I want to make a video of my presentation. I may even dispose of the prop in due course. Without the original instructions and correct name I'm a bit stuck. I have search the web to no avail. Has anyone got a copy of the original instructions please?

I just Googled David's name, which took me to his book, Working with Genius, and this is one of the tricks in it!

Thanks, I did follow that trail but for some reason I though the trick had a more fancy name. I've just found an old video clip showing me presenting it about 5 years ago if anyone is interested. Mark.
