I just thought you guys might like this... Sean Fields is from my city, and I forgot to mention this effect to you guys. It's nice if you like doing bill switches, but this way you don't have to fold it into 16ths, you just fold it in half, and it visibly changes right infront of the spectator... Is it just me, or does anyone else get annoyed by the miniscule demo videos Ellusionist puts up? Everytime, it's like a 200 pixel movie. Ugh!

Other than that, the effect looks pretty cool. The price doesn't seem too bad, but then again, it's just one effect.

I am not sure if I like the effect. Think about it, what makes the "normal" bill switch (independent of if you use a TT or not), so special? For me it is that, the bill is folded, several times, it takes time, it's mysterious, and when you unfold it, it has changed. Very strange, but very magic... In this version, it looks like it happens very fast, and with less mysterious moves and folding....

I actually have to say (well don't have to - choose to) that I really do like it. I understand what you are saying about the old and trusted switch, and to some extent I also agree with you on that, that sometimes slow can be better. However, I have seen a better larger clip of the infinity switch somewhere (I will try and dig it out) and it just looks so magical.

I'm not sure if you are left as clean with the IS. Has anyone actually bought it yet?

Yes, if you are not more clean, I don't see the reason to find it. The bill switch I use, is totally clean. No TT and the misdirection to get clean is pretty easy, as you hand out the bill for inspection. I can't believe I will change to this version

I haven't bought it yet, but I will be next month at a club meeting. The thing is about the classic bill switch it's folded so tiny people can't even see it. So they know something's going on. Where as with the infinity, you get a very visual effect, both are good, and both have their advantages.

According to Sean it acctualy is called the infinity because there are endless switches you can do with it, when I get the dvd, then I'll let you guys know.

To me, the bill looks like an accordian. So in show the bill appears to be folded in half, but you know what the say about appearances.....
