Gig at a school fair

Postby Raven1s » Jul 23rd, '13, 20:41

this afternoon had a gig at my daughters school for there summer fair, bit gusty but coped had a couple mishaps but played them off as practice run's lol.

My daughters teacher was very impressed and was really surprised at the effect's I done it was all card stuff, showed a few to the headteacher as well and she said that I was really good, my daughters teacher is also the deputy headteacher and was saying that she would like to see me do more stuff at the school's Christmas fair later in the year, so more then likely another booking at the school this year.

So happy that everything is going well and as I said before enjoying every moment of it and think I have found my true calling at last, by the christmas fair will learn some more effects to add to it.

Andy

p.s am thinking of making a diary of my gig's and write down things that was right and what was not so right and my learning's from it.

Sounds great, good on you

Is it just purely cards that you work with ??

Glad to hear it went well.
Good idea to keep a diary of effects.
Perhaps look at trying out some non-card material at a future event.
